Checkmating with the queen 3

If white plays Ke6. black is stalemate. He is not in check but cannot move his king without going into check.
If white plays Qb7 then the black  king is trapped on the back rank.  The only move he can make is Ke8

After black has played Ke8, white plays Ke6 and will checkmate black after the next move.

If black plays Kf8 then white plays Qf7 checkmate as shown
Or if black plays Kd8 white plays Qd7 checkmate.
